JOURNAL: Guerrilla Transformation

It's almost a rule that revisionist powers, if they are going to be successful, learn from the great military minds of the status quo power (even when, as they usually are, these minds are out of favor with those in charge within the status quo military). In our case, the revisionist forces are the plethora of small groups that are challenging the state to carve out their own small slice of globalization. Who are they reading? Lind and Boyd, as this pro-HPG site attests. By the way, the group's willingness to share this information is pure open source warfare.

Funny, I thought that the Net Centric Warfare people were all clustered around the airforce and air elements of the other services while the ground troops and marines were all "Genghis John" fans. The fight between the two was the "thrilla in Manila" for Pentagon watchers of this generation. When did the Army lose?

Oh, it didn't? Move on...

That is an entirely different inside the beltway debate. This is the real world.
