Some random items of interest:

  • Interesting Times issue 7 (tag line:  Survive and Thrive in the Cyberpunk Future of Today) is available for free download.  Very cool magazine.  I recommend taking a look at it.  Articles on everything from extreme urban survival to turning a hackerspace into a batcave.
  • Arducopter project.  DIY drones with interfaces that are rapidly outpacing military systems.   Arducopter
  • CNBC article on bitcoins.  It's actually positive. The dollar, euro and yen might be the primary language of currency traders today, but online, all the talk is about bitcoins.
  • Shorting the US dollar using Bitcoin.
  • Dronepedia.  Lots of great info on constructing drones.  Would love to see this wiki join us on MiiU.
  • Landshare.  Connecting people with unused land with people that want to farm it.
  • DIY professional geothermal (geoexchange) kit.
