Not much of difference between flying drones and earth bound bots. Same trend, different locomotion.

Here's a cool video of the Sand Flea.

You can get more details on it from this great IEEE article. I'm with Evan Ackerman (the author at IEEE). This drone needs a tail to give it more stability. Longer term? Think small. Numerous. Faster jumps.
