I'm confused about Technorati

As far as I can discern, neither of my weblogs are listed on the Technorati. What's up with that??

I did sign up, but when I search on any of the terms that my blog would have my blogs don't show up. Strange holes in that service. Google certainly has it as Valdis points out.

Typepad doesn't automatically ping Technorati. Try using this pinger whenever you post.

One other thing. If you use your typepad categories, they act like Techorati tags. Use the categories and ping when you post and you'll show up in the appropriate searches. Categories like Iraq, "Middle East", guerillas, etc...
