MercuryNews. I'm not sure executed prisoners can feed this level of flow. This has the potential to be something very, very ugly (and may be the kind of excess that causes massive disorder). In the past few years, several Chinese hospitals have done a soaring business in liver, heart and kidney transplants. They charge barely half as much as in the West, advertise through intermediaries abroad and pull in a steady stream of patients who are unable to find donors in their home countries.
Could be worse. If it were N. Korea, the organs would be coming from kidnapped S. Koreans and Japanese. Thank goodness they lack those 733t biotech skillz.
