MSNBC. BAER: I can tell you exactly what he‘s going to do because he‘s advertising it. He‘s going to hit the oil facilities in the Gulf. Saudi Arabia, the pipeline system, he‘s going to close down the gas facilities in Qatar, he‘s going to go after the Kuwaiti system, he‘s probably going to leave Israel alone because he knows our vulnerability in the Gulf is oil. They‘ve made this very clear, he‘s sent representatives to the major Gulf states saying, you guys picked the wrong side in this war in Iraq, we get hit, we‘re going to hit your facilities and if we can, we‘re going to overthrow you. The message has been that clear and I‘ve heard it consistently.
That is the one episode of 'Hardball' that might qualify as real, actual hardball.

bob baer is a loser...who said on june 8, 2006 that he knew danny pearl and danny pearl called him after 9/11...the reason danny pearl called him is because bob baer claims knowledge of the plans to run plans into buildings as far back as 1979 in beriut..
i had a question when danny pearl died and that was who did he trust that he went to pakistan to meet contacts that knew bin laden and had information on 9/11...well, found out it can only be one person BOB BAER the SCUMBAG...he got danny out of his way...
bob baer is a pathological liar...he also states that in 1995 that this general in iraq came to him with plans to overthrow saddam...as bob knows his plan was aborted and he was arrested for illegal activities as a cia agent...he never had permission from or was told from real cia officals to try and overthrow saddam...saddam knew everything that happened...as the fake attempt on saddam's life in 1982 gave him reason to kill and toture people saddam sent the guy to bob and i think bob knew it...he wants to see this country fail...

I find it hard to believe that someone could try to discredit such a great man- - who risked his life and familie's lives on a daily basis for so many years, and who even still dedicates his life to causes outside of himself. It would probably serve you well to find a cause to re-direct your energy elsewhere- Let actions speak louder than your obnoxious words. You seem to have an axe to grind- Imagine if you could harness this energy.

Murder is not Jihad

Jihad is expressed in the Holy Qu'ran as a struggle for one's faith against the oppression of truth. Against all forms of false teachings. Including those who profess Islam.
The Bee
No doubt that in the Hereafter they are the losers. Then surely thy Lord, to those who flee after they are perscuted then struggle hard and are patient, surely they Lord after that is Protecting, Merciful.
It should be noted that the struggle (AR jihad) spoken of here is certainly not in connection with fighting, for the verse was revealed at Makkah. Note also that God is spoken of here as being Ghafur, translated as Protecting, to those who flee from their homes on account of persectuion and then struggle hard to establish Truth. Both these are deeds of sacrifice, highly vitruous deeds, and therefore God's being Ghafur is in relation to the exaltation of their degrees by protecting them from the commission of sins, not the pardoning of any sins which they may have committed, for it is their acts of sacrifice that are spoken of here, not their sins.
The Way to Success
Surely the vilest of beasts, in Allah's sight, are the deaf, the dumb, who understand not. And if Allah had known any good in them, He would have made them hear. And if He makes them hear, they would turn away while they are averse.
O you who believe, respond to Allah and His Messenger, when he calls you to that which gives you life.
Faith or submission to Allah is life, and disbelief is death. By the expression that which gives you life some understand the Qur'an, others take it to mean jihad, or exertion of in the cause of truth. Evidently it is faith.

The word Jihad occurs in Makkan revelation frequently, and carries its proper significance of striving hard in Allah's way. The suffering of persectuions and tortures at the hands of their enemies for the sake of their faith was no less a jihad for the Muslims at Makkah than their fighing in defence of Islam at Madinah.
In regards to the Qana story, Hezbollah's lies are murder not jihad. It was very evident on Sunday morning that the house that was being used as a shelter by two families was not made to be a shelter. Even though it was newer than the othher homes it was made to be destroyed.
When one looked at the area that the bodies of the children were being taken out of. It was very clear that it was to look like a shelter but had no reinforcements around it. And my fears that it was a set up were being founded. Especially, after I found out it was a newer home.
Not only were these children and women put in this basement room. They were probably already dead. When the story came out that the men decided to leave for help at hearing the planes approaching. Exposes their lies. These men left for 15 minutes then returned. Yah, is that how long it takes to get the launchers and rockets into a different and real bunker?
The one guy who died while putting on his pants is a lie. Cause the Israeli airstrike hit across the street from the house. That is where the crater was. The house collasped 7 hours later. Not from an airstrike. Because it looked as though the house had been lifted up and set back down at an angle. In other words a controlled destruction. In order for Hezbollah to cover their tracks.
A book entitled "The Keys to Heaven" was found across the street in an olive tree. How convinent. Impling that they were maryters. The old man crying for his cousin Mohammed is a liar.
It has been reported that Hezbollah runs the social services and takes care of the people. Yet, it has been said that it costs $400 and up for a taxi ride out of the area of fighting. WHERE IS THE GENEROUS HEzBOLLAH? WHY DIDN'T THEY GET THESE POOR SHIAS OUT OF THE AREA? Because they use them for proganda purposes. Much like Saddam.
This old lady from the town that had heavy fighting and was pretty much destroyed. Trys to say she has slept outside for 3 weeks. EXCUSE ME. No she has been with the fighters (who are probably some of her children) in a bunker nearby. When they came to film the town 2-3weeks after the fighting. They had her waiting there to be rescued. The story goes that since they are old they can't be Hezbollah.
Hezbollah is a civilian armed gang of thugs. When some old woman shows a picture of her 19 year old son who was killed in the air raids. While she is in a hospital that claims only women and children are being brought there. Then, the 19 year old was a fighter. They don't have to be in uniform to be a fighter. Which endangers the young men who do not want to be a part of Hezbollah or are forced to fight.
It has been said that Israel hit a car they thought had a Hezbollah leader in it. Lebanon tried to say it was one of their soldiers. Yeh, one that is a Hezbollah leader. That is why they have refused to disarm and take control of Hezbollah.
I would suggust they tell their lies to someone else. For Allah will be the decider of the Truth.

Methods of Failures
Recently in the news Donald Rumsfeld advanced a continuation of what failed polices produce. More stupidity even less anything meaningful. This should be obvious to a smart man like Mr. Rumsfeld our Secretary of Defense. In his attempt to change the structure of our Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles. The only thing he conveyed was that the Bush Administration has failed polices leading to complete incompetence.
When one states even the President of Russia would be willing to take nuclear warheads off of ICBMs. Replacing them with conventional warheads as a means to fight “terrorists” well, just plain criminals. It defies logic. ICBMs are not precision weapons. Demonstrated by the thousands of them pointed at both sides during the Cold War.
Treaties of the past were made for everyone’s sense of protection. This blunder could hurt relations if not it insulted the intelligence of world partners. Which is no way to gain any trust or respect. The hell with hearts and minds can’t get married people to love each other. Let alone global participants. Rational people try to find a way to move forward. Purposing such a plan only leads to speculation and distrust.
The idea of lobbing an ICBM at a target inside a sovereign country. Can only mean they have backed themselves into a corner with blinders on and no mirror to look in. They have become equal with their renowned “terrorists”. After stating no one knows what was on the failed launch of a North Korean Taedong-2 missile this summer. It seems Mr. Rumsfeld has inherited President Ronald Reagan’s “can’t remember” syndrome.
What are the details? An unnamed source to blame someone else before and after. After they called Russia their enemy. Then, telling Russia to trust them. Their next line is going to be they are only going to hit somewhere in the hopes of destroying what or who? Case in point, the strikes of early 2006 in Pakistan. Spare us the image in our nightmares. Should Russia stand and wait to see if they are going to be hit with a nuclear weapon? I would fear not.
Other great notions long decidedly had never worked to any advantage are for sale at a premium. American tax dollars, loss of personal life whether military or not and a cost of yielding secret contracts to unaccountable people. Last time this country armed college students. All we reaped was watching obscure news reporters make a name for themselves at the expense of people held hostage in Iran. Including the psyche of the American public. Today the selling of revenge is in the price tag. A Shah had overspent his welcome. America lost honor by arming groups now labeled “terrorists”. With that in mind, why not put the Bush twins in the Oval Office? Maybe they could do a better job.
Bob Baer the famed ex-CIA agent whines how the government stopped him from ousting Saddam’s Iraq in 1995. Baer still refuses to consider the consequences of such actions. Saddam surely knew of his schemes. Wanting to respond with a plan to run us out of the Middle East tail between our legs. Not to mention how many Iraqi’s would have died because of this preposterous course. The CIA said it no longer engages in coups. Yet, he claims it was the CIA’s idea. After stating a general in the Northern Kurdish region came to him about it.
An old well-versed military strategy tells us to know our enemy. In clear concise terms not distorted from some pundits’ over inflated disinformation campaign. They do not even understand themselves. There is intelligence. Then, something called counterintelligence. Defined as disinformation whether intentional or not. Out of the experts peddling their incredible knowledge of radical or moderate Islam. All have espoused covert arming of college age people in Iran. None have stated what Islam thinks of such deeds.
Islam calls it murder and dacoity. A heinous crime of depriving Muslims of life and property. Deterred by leaving the perpetrator’s body on a cross for a few days in the public realm. In America it is called treason under the guise of capital punishment either military or civilian. Still, derelict ploys are conjured up. While disregarding any sense of their claimed morals above a named foe.
Mossback would be a kind word for such disingenuous performances. It is said actions speak louder then words. In this case, words speak vividly before any exercise.

To me, it seems that all of the information involved reveals a person who was desperately trying to uncover the truth and actually do something about it- which may have went against the grain. In some cases that COULD get you fired, and in some cases it may be well worth it. He is probably the most brilliant man on the planet. We need more people like him.

in regards to the 72 Virigins
70 Days, 70 Verses, 72 Virgins
I haven't perfected this issue yet. Though I will give an opinion on it. When this CIA guy ,Bob Baer, started the thing about 72 virgins I had to search for an answer. In fact, the 72 virigins thing started much like everything else. In the news media then all the way thru the news media.
It finally became evident that Bob Baer started it. When Bob stated that he had personal knowledge from interviewing muslims and young muslim girls stating to him that this 72 virigins stuff was now a God Sent Reality. I challenge Bob Baer as to what he heard or whether he heard it at all.
With the need to give CIA interrogators the tools to get information to be used against suspects, what is the purpose? Could it be to get the answers they want? If these CIA interrogators are civilians, then what about the consititution and torture don't they understand?The CIA is a civilian intelligence collection agency. Not a private contractor that can't figure out what are it's responsiblities.
About the 72 virgins, where did it arise from? After searching a long time, finding only 70 verses in the Quran. Moses had 70 elders. Isis in Egypt hid from Seth for 70 days. So, how did it get to 72 virgins?
In studing the Pope's lecture, I found a reference to the Septuagint. In the Columbia encyclopedia it stated that the Septuagint was the translation of the Old Testament from Hebrew into Greek. They also stated that it was done in 72 days by 72 translators. I think it has been found.
Since, Rev. Moon of the Unification Church dispises the Catholic Church alot of weight can be given to this theory. Rev. Moon has people in every area that "terrorists" are found. Including having people in the intelligence business that give uncollabrated information to arrest these terrorists. Who else would come up with a term 72 Virgins?

i dont think that he could never pass as a woman- he is brilliant but that would be a stretch even for him. what is the obsession with all of the attacks pointed at him and the intelligence agencies during that time- when they constantly tried to reveal the truth- you can be given information but you cant make anyone use the information that has the power to do something about it. and from the looks of your brainstorming you should consider a hobby instead of trying to brainstorm come up with these ridiculous theories that seem to be feeding hatred and painting everything with one brush. things are much more complicated that just one theory in a nutshell that just covers everthing and every one. it would be nice, but...no.

bob knows who i am and how i feel about his little escapades...sorry to say...the golden rule in espionage is keep ur mouth shut...nomatter what...so i think bob doesn't matter to anyone cause they let him run his mouth...and the feds let him go cause there just wasn't enough proof in 1995 that he concocked the little plan himself...

If its all not just an inflated opinion, and you know him so well- you would be telling him this yourself- and not venting frustrations and giving your version of any events that "happened". Its very sad propaganda against someone that tried so actively work to reveal information- and I will never buy it personally. We are VERY lucky that there are people that are as brave to go against the grain as he did. Think of what a risk it must have been.

Hey, anyone who is willing to come out of the shadows and talk is heroic. He's a good man who served his country well. I, for one, have upped my radar on what is really happening in this country. Not to mention, my insatiable need to hear the real story behind foreign policy to the point I'm learning arabic to read the real aljazeera.net and not the sanitized english version. He worked long, he worked hard, and he sacrificed a great deal in his life. Even at a GS-15 salary its a small sacrifice considering the amount of danger he faced and the times he put his balls on the flame for intel. Let him enjoy his time as an author.
