I keep feeling Russia is giving us a little foretaste of what's in store for us, when we can no longer maintain our infrastructure.

Or maybe the USA is giving Russia a little warning of what can happen if Russian doesnt quit moving against Georgia, Ossetia, Abkhazia and Trans Dniester.
This one is hard to figure out but one thing for sure is that one of the "real wars" is starting to reveal itself and that is the war between Russia and USA over global energy leverage.

I should have said moving against Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldavia and perhaps Ukraine using Ossetia, Abkhazia and Trans Dniester

JR, thank you! I'll take that correction. There's a pretty good five part series on Russia's energy play on Asiatimes, if you havent already seen it.
