Just exactly how are naval forces going to prevent a terrorist attack on a land-based oil facility?
To me, they feel more like sitting ducks for some black flag operation.

Could be a worry about a repeat of the Basra terminal attack (speed boats, etc.). Ras Tanura is a port as well.
