I like the distinction between security and control.

Resilience, of course, tends to decrease control but increase security.


Economic recession and economic depression are features of a resilient economic system. Despite that fact, the primary goal of popular economic planners is to 'control' the economy in such a way that growth is eternal.

Control is popular, very popular.
