Journal: Smart Bullets

Sandia labs has announced it has built a smart bullet. It's a particularly nice addition to a micro drone system that can ID targets (with drones, ammo payload matters quite a bit).

This bullet can make small corrections using fins + a computer control system (it makes 30 corrections per second). The caliber will get smaller and the intelligence/correction capacity will increase. Saw variants of this tech as far back as a decade ago. Check for patents and more detail on this tech. If you find them, post it.

You are going to see lots of old weapons tech get a new life as smarts are added. It might be breakable, but the lethality of someone with smart personal weapons could should eventually be 100x someone without it.

The world is changing. Quickly.
