The funding for Iraq is winding down with only $1.6 billion left for reconstruction and nothing to show for the money that has already been spent. Good luck getting other nations to throw good money after bad (the chaos will just eat up these investments as if they weren't even made) WSJ:
"Iraq's neighbors ought to do more to help," the president said after a day of discussion with his top national security advisers on Iraq's future. Mr. Bush said that nations around the world -- many of them outside the Middle East -- have pledged $13 billion for Iraq and "we expect our friends ... to honor those commitments."
